Banking for the Bold
Aldermore Bank is a retail bank which provides financial services to the little guy: start-ups and entrepreneurs. To celebrate the launch of their new savings portfolios we created a series of short animations.
Each business is individual and Aldermore’s savings packages reflect this. The metaphor of tailoring was woven through the narrative to convey the bespoke service Aldermore provides.
Working within an established illustrative style I was tasked with devising a visual narrative by storyboarding and illustrating the animation. Situated in a tailor’s studio, hands enter and exit the scene, measuring, cutting, and choosing fabric to reveal the final product. The result is quirky, playful, and informative.
